Shapes Tool

Learn how to use the shapes tool with the Brandabl Design Editor. The shape tool has so many options to choose from.

• Within the Design Editor, find the menu to the left of your post
  • Option 1: Add Lines
    • Click on the line you want to use and it will appear in your post
    • Click and drag the ends of the line to make it longer or shorter
    • Alter the line Weight (thickness) with the up and down arrows in the menu on the left
    • Arrange the line by sending it behind or to the front of the other layers in the post
    • Use the “Transparency” setting to make it more or less opaque
    • Use the mini menu above the line when it is selected to make it dashed
    • Change the color of the line by changing the line’s “Fill”
  • Option 2: Add Shapes
    • Click on the shape you want to use and it will appear in your post
    • Click and drag various points of the shape to make it larger or smaller
    • Arrange the shape by sending it behind or to the front of the other layers in the post
    • Use the “Align” tool to adjust the shape’s location in relation to other objects
    • Alter the outline around the shape with the “Stroke” option
    • Change the color of the shape by changing the “Fill”
      • NOTE: Use the mini menu above the shape to import a texture or photo into the shape. Click on the shape and then look at the menu on the left and select “Photo”. Then, search Unsplash. Unsplash is a stock photo library. Type what you are searching for in the stock library and find the images that best fit your design. Click “Add” to add your image into the shape.
    • To further edit the shape, click on the image and use the menu to the left of the post to Reposition, Resize, add Filters, or Replace the image.
    • Undo any changes with the reverse arrow icon above your post
    • All changes will autosave
